Helsinki 2022

The next stop of our event series, the Hungarian Wine Business Program is in Helsinki, Finland. In this beautiful Scandinavian country our aim is unchanged: to increase the international recognition of Hungarian wines among wine trade professionals and journalists, bearing in mind the state monopoly of alcohol sales which is one of the defining characteristics of the Finnish wine market.

The program will start with a masterclass to demonstrate the rich variety offered by Hungarian wine regions and to provide opportunities for participants to deepen their understanding of Hungarian wines. Then, the participants will have the opportunity to get to know a wide range of wines and also to build new business relationships during a walk-around tasting.

The event series is organized by the Agricultural Marketing Centre and their aim is to support the Hungarian agricultural sector by improving its competitiveness on the international market and also to enable it to apply up-to-date marketing tools and techniques in more efficient and productive ways.

The event is going to start at 10AM on 3rd May 2022.

9.30 – Arrival and registration
10.00-11.30 – Masterclass with Pasi Ketolainen MW and András Horkay dipWSET
11.30-14.00 – Walk-around tasting, presenting 13 wineries from Hungary
